well im off for a week to sunny portugal,i know al will miss my large ear which he bends and also he will forget to pick his jeans up from the lady down the street who hs been altering the top button for him(say no more).

so im just about packed, fake tanned up,ready to go.  its been a while since weve been abroad and its surprising how much i forgot that you need. well my mind is full of passports to remember and children with the passports to remember so im signing off.  see you all soon xx

finding new products has been my aim this week at the trade fairs, so initially when i first arrive the drill is  always the same,mesmerised by product any product gleaming,shining under the hall lights saying ‘look at me arent i beautiful’ then i tend to refocus on the job in hand, oh which is looking for beautiful yet affordable, a ‘spot-on’ product.  Mosaic is still the daddy with different takes and complimentry pieces to combine with.  Mosaic candle holders especially the black and white with a rather grande presence are a lovely gesture on any table.  Have you noticed the chandelier/shade lighting? Fantstically ornate wonderfully chic and a perfect piece to accompany you into the autumn months(not that we want to think about autumn at the moment!)but just standing in a room looking pretty for the summer the beaumont certainly achieves this, kinda what al does in bars on a saturday night?Enjoy x

in response to my interview on you tube, yes i admit it isnt shot in ones best light and you would be forgiven for thinking that i was slightly tipsy but i can assure you i was perfectly sober thank you! it was after all 10 am, to a few individuals this may not be significant of course but to me it is! never work with children or animals so im not sure which category to put Al into…….

We finally made it onto you tube! and it wasn’t in the normal fashion of jumping off a cliff with a skateboard or man wrestling bears, oh no my friend Those friendly folk at Sage who just live down the road from us asked us to test their new software package called Sage one. Naturally we jumped at the chance and after having a small visit round there plush offices (sadly no funky furniture was found on our undercover spy mission) we all agreed to be there eyes and ears for their new software. So without boring you all with the ins and outs of accountancy software we came to the end result……….Brilliant! This is a serious bit of kit for any small business like ours, Naomi our chief account loves it, so much so in fact she wants a Sage one T shirt and mug. All joking aside we loved every minute of being a part of something new and we learn’t an awful lot. since what was a clear blue idyillic sky has dramatically turned to a rumbling undigested storm ready to blow a gasket i decided why dont i write a new blog.. Big Al is kinda  what i liken to a french chef,creative ,moody without caffeine and very passionate about what he does. he is at the hub of the nervous system . the heart of the operation, the fizz in the cola and the mint in the gum. i know, i will stop the cliches, could i work with a more dynamically driven human being who spends the majority of the time giving the customer what they want-no what our customer needs-stylish items at a real price? prob not if the truth be told.x

Introducing lisa is no easy task, She has many attributes in our workplace and im not sure where to begin, well actually i am but it may sound unintendedly condescending.  Lisa makes the meanest cup of coffee you have ever tasted,its the one we look forward to in the morning, it kicks starts my day let me tell you.  Anyhoo,not taking that away from her the lovely lisa is great at queries, problem solving and the weakest link and deal or no deal.  Her hobbies include flower arranging and even more impressively has recently restored their home with her husband Ray who guess what?He works here too!Moving on nicely……
